The Geneva Declaration on Cognitive Sovereignty
Global Citizens Have Signed
A Manifesto for the Age of Autonomous Intelligence
In this pivotal moment of human history, as artificial intelligence achieves unprecedented autonomy and capability, we declare that cognitive sovereignty—the fundamental right of human beings to maintain control over their own thoughts, decisions, and mental processes—must be recognized as an inalienable human right.
Just as the Geneva Conventions protect human dignity in times of war, this Declaration seeks to protect human cognitive autonomy in the age of AI.
